Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) set out the terms for booking, organising and invoicing services provided by La Luck and Big Luck venues for group and professional (BtoB) events, including catering and team building activities.

2. Scope

These terms apply to:

• any group booking from 15 guests upwards,
• any request for partial or full private hire,
• any professional event (afterwork, team building, seminar, etc.).

3. Booking and confirmation

Every request receives a tailored quote.

The booking is considered firm and final once:

• the quote has been accepted in writing (signature or email confirmation),
• the deposit has been paid (article 4).

An option may be held for 5 calendar days. After this period, the venue reserves the right to release the date without notice.

4. Deposit

To secure the booking, a deposit of 80% of the quoted amount is required upon signature.

The balance (20%) is payable at the end of the event or upon receipt of invoice.

The venue reserves the right to require a 100% payment before the event in some cases (peak dates, last-minute requests, new clients).

Any deposit paid is non-refundable, except as provided in article 8.

5. Headcount and cut-off

The client must confirm the final number of participants no later than 5 working days before the event (D-5).

This figure is the minimum basis for invoicing.

Adjustments:

• Up to D-5: adjustment free of charge
• Between D-5 and D-2: 50% of cancelled covers billed
• Less than 48h before: 100% of confirmed covers billed

Any late increase is subject to availability.

6. Services and organisation

Services are defined in advance and set out in the quote:

• menus,
• drinks,
• team building activities.

Final menu choices must be communicated no later than 48 hours before the event.

Any late modification may be refused or charged.

7. Specific conditions — events

• A minimum spend may be required depending on the nature of the event.
• Any damage to equipment or furniture will be charged.

8. Cancellation

Any cancellation must be notified in writing.

Conditions:

• More than 30 days before: 50% of the deposit refunded
• Between 30 and 7 days before: 100% of the deposit retained
• Less than 7 days before: 100% of the quoted amount billed

9. Lateness

In the event of lateness exceeding 30 minutes:

• the venue reserves the right to reorganise the service,
• the duration may be adjusted without compensation,
• beyond 1 hour of lateness, the booking may be considered cancelled without refund.

10. Payment terms

The balance is payable:

• either before the event,
• or on the day of the event on-site by card,
• or upon receipt of invoice within 30 days (professional clients, subject to approval).

Any late payment will result in:

• late payment penalties at the legal rate in force,
• a flat fee of €40 for recovery costs.

11. Liability

The client is liable for any damage caused by their participants.

The venue declines any liability in case of loss or theft of personal belongings.

12. Force majeure

The venue cannot be held liable if it is unable to deliver the service due to force majeure (strike, public health crisis, administrative closure, etc.).

13. Personal data

Data collected is used solely for commercial management purposes and is not shared with third parties.

14. Disputes

These T&Cs are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first.

Failing that, the competent courts will be those of the venue's registered office.
